so one of Criterion Corner’s* oldest friends is a lovely lass named caroline, who fronts a band called Chairlift. their brilliant new album “Something” has been on repeat in my brain for the better part of a year now, and will formally be out on January 24th from Columbia Records. here’s the lead single, accompanied by its gloriously insane music video.
* i’ve always wanted to do that thing where a blogger refers to themselves by the name of their blog, as if the voice behind the blog has split into a separate entity of some kind… and now that i have, let’s never speak of this incident again.
